Proposals

·

  1. CLIMATE CHANGE MANAGEMENT (Promote environmentally sustainable farming)

Farm2Earn is Aiming at shifting rapidly towards farming models that promote a greater variety of crops, reduced fertilizer to return to natural and organic system farming roots. We do more to support small farmers to limit hunger, poverty and climate change by producing more Local food to achieve global food security and tackle climate change

Farm2Earn warns that urgent and far-reaching action is needed before climate change begins to cause big disruptions to agriculture.

The damage caused to the environment is "mounting and unsustainable Farm2Earn also arguing that the real causes of hunger – poverty and the lack of access to good, affordable food – are being overlooked.

Our aim is to reduce the use of fertilizer and other inputs, support small-scale farmers and create strong local food systems.

Proposal 2 Food waste -

VITAMIX PROJECT

Food waste - Because produce has to look good on grocery store shelves .The food waste problem is contributed to the high peak of their ripeness. Food producers and sellers drive the bulk of food waste by throwing out damaged or “unattractive” produce, discarding millions of shillings

Vitamix project tackles both the nutrition epidemic and the food waste crises in Uganda. Vitamix dry and freeze wasted food , fruits and vegetables from restaurants and  local farmers at the peak of their ripeness  blend  and package them in powder and liquid forms, distribute it to people and especially schools in need
